Berachain Governance Update: RFRV Batch 29 Approved

The latest RFRV batch adds new vaults that expand how users can earn through BTC, staking derivatives, and stablecoin markets on Berachain.
Infrared’s new iBGT vault on Pendle connects Berachain’s staking ecosystem with yield-tokenized markets, giving users more ways to manage and compound rewards from staked BGT positions. On the stablecoin side, wBTC liquidity is now paired with NECT, creating a bridge for Bitcoin-based capital to enter Berachain while deepening the stablecoin’s backing and trade routes. And on the trading front, BERA/USDC.e liquidity on BrownFi benefits from concentrated, oracle-driven pricing that tightens spreads and improves routing efficiency for one of the network’s most used pairs.
Each of these vaults adds something functional: yield flexibility for stakers, entry points for BTC holders, and stronger market depth for BERA itself. Together, they keep broadening the ways users can benefit from Berachain’s Proof of Liquidity economy.
NON-BEX POOLS (DEX — Vault Proposer — Pair)
- Kodiak — Infrared — LP-iBGT on Pendle
- BrownFi — BrownFi — BERA/USDC.e
- Kodiak — Beraborrow — wBTC/NECT Charm Vault
All requests for amendments to existing vaults were approved, with the Labs team coordinating with teams to swap out incentives or make necessary changes.
