The second batch of PoL reward vaults has been approved. Starting Monday, March 31st, a new set of vaults will go live across the Berachain ecosystem, expanding the range of applications eligible for BGT emissions.

Following a successful initial launch focused on DEX pools, this second batch reflects a growing diversity of protocols participating in PoL — a system where applications compete for validator-directed emissions to incentivize user activity. This batch includes pools incentivizing liquidity for lending protocols, derivatives, CDPs, dexes and more, along with some of the first non-TVL focused use cases, in volume vaults for platforms like Kuma, Lode and Bro.Trade

Vaults were assessed and approved based on criteria outlined by the BGT Foundation and Guardians, including economic alignment, security, and ecosystem fit.

This also marks the beginning of a weekly cadence for RFRV approvals, with new vaults reviewed and activated on a rolling basis as PoL continues to scale across Berachain.

The reward vault whitelisting process is ongoing, with new vaults reviewed and approved each week as part of Berachain’s progressive governance rollout.

• Applications (RFRVs) are due each Thursday at 00:00 UTC (Wednesday EoD EST)
• Vaults are reviewed and assessed by the BGT Foundation and Guardians over the following days
• Please note that all RFRVs must be posted on the forums for public review prior to being eligible for approval
• Newly approved reward vaults go live each Monday (Monday AM EST)

This weekly cadence provides a steady opportunity for protocols to plug into PoL and compete for emissions, while supporting steady, sustainable growth of the ecosystem.
